20 Year Reunion 

October 5&6, 2007 

Reagan was President, INXS topped the charts and gas cost $1.08 per gallon. Oliver North was indicted in the Iran Contra affair. There was only one Die Hard movie. It was our senior year. Twenty years later it’s time to remember our high school days and revive old friendships. This October the Class of 1988 and members of the 1987 football team will be honored during Deshler’s homecoming festivities. Make plans now to find your way back to DHS so we can all be together again. 

Here’s the plan. We’ll kick off the weekend on Friday morning with an assembly in the auditorium followed by a reception at the Winston Home. After lunch we’ll reconvene

for the pep rally and parade. You and your family are invited to ride on the alumni float. (Don’t forget the candy.) Later we’ll meet at the stadium and sit together during the game. 

On Saturday morning we’ll gather in Spring Park for a picnic and class picture. If it’s been a while since you’ve been to the park, you’re in for a surprise!  Saturday night is the big finale: our class dinner at the Tennessee Valley Country Club.

One more thing … if you have any photos from our school days (not just senior year) please send them to Allison Sample via email or US mail. She’s working on a DVD presentation and wants to make sure the entire class is represented. You are also welcome to send current pictures of you and your family.     On the menu: barbecue chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad and cake.

      Children are not invited to this event.

     There will be a cash bar.
